Kings Cross in the 1930s
25" x 30". Alkyd. 1999
The morning fog is clearing as several Gresley Pacifics head
north. The Flying Scotsman train left King's Cross for Edinburgh
at 10 am. It ran non-stop in the summer months taking about
seven and a half hours. Later in the 1930s the streamlined
A4 class (as seen in the Forth Bridge painting) took over
from the A1s and A3s seen here.
