More point rodding

The point rodding around the signal box and the three crossovers has been added.





The rod which has nothing connected to it is for a basic suggestion of a facing point lock...



...which has been added in the next picture.



The three-way point in the goods yard now has a ground frame to 'operate' it. The levers are made from a couple of bristles from a scrubbing brush.

Ballast weathering

The next job was to weather the ballast. I used first a coat of diluted artists' acrylic Raw Umber followed by one of Payne's Grey. Some photos show the result.
