Building Wrenton - Page 38

March-April 2020

Western Region day

My three WR locos came out of storage for a run. In the first four shots the 64xx is hauling a 'B' Set, not previously photographed here.

The SE&CR C Class also has an outing.

A couple of new photos of this pretty little model taken from the back of the layout with a temporary background of trees.

Brake vans.

An idea suggested by a member of the N Gauge Forum (click here to visit) was a train of brake vans. The thinking is that a branch line to the north of Wrenton is being closed down and a special train has been arranged for enthusiasts to take a final trip down the route. The shots show the train arriving, being reversed into the lay-by siding allowing a scheduled service to pass and then resuming its journey.
